This project requires me to design a logo for their up and coming bow-tie and neckwear company. The experience is definitely rewarding, that I get to study about things I don't usually get to know about. What I like about my logo is that I've incorporated the bow-tie into the baroque pattern, which speaks about the products being delicately made and classically beautiful.

It's my nephew's birthday! Instead of mailing him a birthday card or emailing him an ecard, I drew some cartoon animals and put everything together for him in Flash. It would have been fun to animate the animals. Let's do that next time.

Combining silhouettes and positive / negative spaces is a good trick if you want to keep your design simple. Yup, it's time to search for a new trick.

Happy 2010! I need to be more inspired in order to create better work. Now, I have 3 more posters added to my collections of work.
I realize that I need to go back to drawing! Maybe I will turn to that direction in my next work.

Here are a few posters that I've completed recently.
I'm surprised that the initial drafts look NOTHING like what I see right now. The more paths you explore, the more outcomes you get. Most importantly, the number of breaks you take in between accounts for the number of versions you will get. Therefore, only take breaks if you have to.
